Dr. Robert Collins of Collins Cardiology is a board certified cardiologist. He’s also board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He graduated from Southeastern College in Americus, GA, in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
He graduated from Nova Southeastern University of Miami, FL, in 1993 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. Collins completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida in 1996, and a fellowship in Cardiology at Indiana University in 1999.
Though Dr. Robert Collins has been in private practice since 1999, he opened Collins Cardiology in Douglas, GA, in 2001. The office specializes in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, nuclear cardiology stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CTA, pacemaker device implants, and defibrillation device implants.
Dr. Collins is the only invasive cardiologist in Douglas, GA. He’s the medical director of Coffee Regional Cardiac Cath Lab.
